How Carpe Made 8 Figures Off This Niche - BrandBreakdowns #034

Introduction:
Welcome to BrandBreakdowns, our goal is to hand pick out the most creative strategies that brands are using to grow so that you can instantly implement them into your business & make more money.
Hook-Retention-Reward:
Carpe leverages this simple framework through their social media posts like the first video shared below and their ads, like the 2 ads I share below. When people are scrolling on social media, they only care about one thing: mindlessly scrolling. As marketers our jobs are to take them from that doom scroll / mindless scroll to paying attention to our ad, long enough to be interested in our product. Carpe understands this and makes all of its ads and social media content the same, leveraging popular forms of content like interviews in the streets, a rap video, or big wads of cash. Alex Hormozi mentions this simple hook-retention-reward framework in his book $100M Leads, and other successful DTC brands like Apple use this too, so it might be time to submit a new ad concept to Viral Ecom Adz and begin testing this today!
Talk To A Sweat Advisor:
We’ve talked about having a live chat on websites before, specifically in products related to health, beauty, and tech. However, Carpe isn’t any of those but still leverages the power of their customer service to help customers as they shop live. It may not seem like much, but just 1 conversation can lead to a sale and a lifetime loyal customer. Regardless of what product you are selling, maybe try giving customers the amount to ask live questions while going through the checkout process, and to save yourself headaches in the future just add those questions and concerns into your copy on your homepage and product page.
Discount Gamification Announcement Bar:
On Carpe’s product pages, they have a big dark green announcement bar with a discount gamification bar. As you spend more you earn more discounts, and can earn up to expedited shipping. I usually see these on cart pages, but when you think about it, that would mean a customer would need to leave their cart and continue to find more things to buy, by putting it on your product page could lead to customers buying more because it’s easier to pick up more items. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find an app that you can use to make this easier to add to your brand, and Carpe uses custom code to make it work, however, they did code this into their product page directly instead of creating a snippet and dynamically showing it, so with that information if you want it, you know how to get it. I recommend creating a duplicate theme BEFORE making any major changes to your code, bugs can lead to elements rendering wrong and lead to customer confusion, a confused customer doesn’t buy.
